Dot x Cat x Mouse x Peace x Love
Now if we could just get different races of Humans to be cordial to eachother we'd really be onto something.

I WANT YOU TO GET MAD!
Let's Get Into It. What shocks me about this movie is that it was made in 1976, and it' relevance is so strong today in 2010 that it chills my bones. Mind control via Television and Mass Media is a recurring topic in my life and I'm getting deeper into the rabbit hole. Listen to Mr. Beale. . he's talking directly to YOU.
"I'm as mad as hell and I'm NOT gonna take this anymore!"
"You are an old man who thinks in terms of nations and peoples. There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no Third Worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems. One vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multi-varied, multi-national dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rands, rubles, pounds and shekels.
It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet. That is the natural order of things today. That is the atomic, and sub-atomic and galactic structure of things today.
We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies, Mr Beale. The world is a college of corporations, inexorably determined by the immutable bye-laws of of business. The world is a business, Mr Beale. It has been since man crawled out of the slime.
And our children will live, Mr Beale, to see that ... perfect ... world in which there is no war nor famine, oppression or brutality. One vast and ecumenical holding company for whom all men will work to serve a common profit. In which all men will hold a share of stock.
All necessities provided. All anxieties tranquilized. All boredom amused."

This might offend you. We'll call that COGNITIVE DISSONANCE. So Let's face the facts now.
Hip-Hop was purchased in the 1990's and has been used as a tool since to:
1. Brainwash our people
2. Convince our people to spend all of our money on frivolous things
3. Keep us trapped in a mind-state where we will never discover our true power and the potential in which all of us really have.
If someone steps outside of the box: ie (Money is the motive, Sell drugs, Kill each other, It's all about being FLY, bullshit) then they are silenced and not supported by the record industry. They will literally make an artist re-do a whole album if he is popular and has something REAL to say. And to be real, all that we wanna hear is that BULLSHIT because it's been perpetuated in our society SO much, that by now GUCCI MANE is the hot shit.
Let's take a look at the society.
"According to a recent Child Trends DataBank report, 69.5% of African-American children are born to an unmarried mother, in comparison to 47.9% of Hispanic children, 25.4% of White children, and 16.2% of Asian/Pacific Islander children. Most Black families with children don’t break up - they never form to begin with." Source - www.fathersandfamilies.org
By an alarming majority, there are no FATHER FIGURES in the black household. Fathers are very important because young men learn how to be a man from their father. A majority of all human learning is through MODELING; meaning -MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO-. When all that these young blacks see ignorance, they will perpetuate it, and that is what they will become.
It's deeper than whether or not your favorite rapper wants to be a role model. The fact of the matter is that you listen to him so much, that you emulate the way he talks, dresses, thinks, etc. simply based on the fact that you have continuous exposure to him.
The brain is like a blank computer when you're born, and the only things that a child will learn, meaning the only way a child will act, meaning the only things a child will experience are the things related to that programmed into the processing.
This isn't only about children, our friends and loved ones that are grown are suffering from the same poison implanted through the mass media.

A Debate Amongst Giants
Cornell West had a few things to say about this debate. I would side with him. The characters in Tyler Perry's works ARE popular, but that doesn't mean that they are the most positive images that African-Americans could be consuming.
"Spike Lee is a GREAT filmmaker, Tyler Perry is a GOOD filmmaker."
Tyler Perry rebuts:
These characters aren't REAL people, and REAL people is who we need. It's 2010.

I attended a Wealth Building Seminar that was BEAUTIFULLY articulated by FAMU's PRodigy Public Relations Firm . . but the substance of the event was a little dry and I was disappointed by how much i DIDN'T pick up from the event. I expected to leave this event with the knowledge necessary to begin my work on becoming a billionaire; but I guess I was better off studying on YOUTUBE.
I didn't walk away from the event with any knowledge of how to "BUILD WEALTH" provided by the presenters. All that I can remember that we talked about was CREDIT..
WE did presentations on how we would fix other people's business based on movies. . it was just so BORING. Apparently the secret to building wealth is just structure in your finances. WE didn't even go in depth in any of the ways to actually invest into stocks. . they just suggested that stocks could help you build wealth.
I honestly don't even have anything to say about them. IT was an excellent experience being able to link-up with like-minded individuals at my school because I aim to do future business with the individuals but when the FDIC returns to the school, I charge them with the responsibility of REALLY teaching us to build wealth if that's what they claim to do.
Now let's find something on YouTube that will help me build some wealth. .

- Dr. James Ammons
Prior to attending Dr. Bland's Mass Media Methods class, I wasn't expecting to attend the State of the University address, as a matter of fact, I didn't even know that it was going to take place. What I realized when I walked in, is that students weren't informed about this meeting. Whether this was due to poor communication, or the fact that our president was about to deliver some SCARY news, I'm still not sure.
What Dr. Ammons stated during this presentation was very troubling. As we all know, our country is going through an economic decline, and we are being hit by that blow. FAMUS revenue budget has been reduced by $26 Million. This will not be restored in the forseeable future. The budget is being discussed to receive another 15% cut. Layoffs will likely be unavoidable. Every division of the school will have cuts. Professors will lose jobs which will likely put entire programs in jeopardy.
Ammons said himself that the lookout is BLEEK. Hell, there's not going to be a STIMULUS PACKAGE to save us this time. We received 8 million dollars in stimulus funds in the past that helped save 347 jobs, but we aren't going to be receiving that money again in 2011 so we are facing an even larger decline. If my calculations are correct that means we're already down about 400 jobs and a lot more are to come.
The face of our university is due for a drastic change and not even our president knows what it will look like after we go through this process of consolidation.
I'm worried about if I'll even have the opportunity to finish my degree program. America is going through the punches and unfortunately HBCU's are nowhere near the top priority.

This is quite possibly the most important book that a man can read, for it will explain to him how important his thoughts are and how they work to mold his life. It's a very short read and you can definitely knock it out in one sitting period. There are also some James Allen quotes for you to take a look at.

Love.

It's IMPORTANT
Matter of fact, it's the MOST important thing. Love keeps the world going around.
"Love is the energy that has created the Universe and all that is within it. Love is the most powerful energy in the Universe!
There is an organic Love that speaks to everyone, if only we would hear. Wherever there is Love there is peace, joy, fulfillment, trust, and abundance.
The giving and receiving of Love opens the door to greater understanding and acceptance.
Without Love there is chaos, hate, anger, and fear. This is why some negative things are the way they are in our world. There needs to be more giving and receiving of Love there.
Love has a consciousness of its own. It cannot be contained or defined by words. And, even though we often try to do so, Love cannot be labeled as a certain thing.
There is nothing that you cannot do with Love. However, the things you do with Love can only be positive and for the highest benefit of all.
Love is the nutrition of the Universe and everything in it, including ourselves. With Love all things are possible. The Energy of Love is the only thing you need to solve any problem you may have.
Love can be sent to any place you plan to go. . . a meeting, a party, an interview, wherever! Send Love there prior your being there and notice the positive difference it makes.
You can send Love to another person. The Love you send will affect that person in whatever way is best for them, no matter what you do.
Love can also be sent to pets, plants. . . to anything anywhere and to any situation!
You can send Love into the food you are preparing, or right before eating it. Love is absorbed by the food, increasing the life energy and improving the taste.
The food you have filled with Love is absorbed by cells in your body and has a lot of positive energy and healing properties.
Love does not control nor does it manipulative. Love allows. . .
Your thoughts, words and actions are directly associated with the amount of Love you have in your life. When you are surrounded by Love you tend to feel happier, more confident, more secure.
The vibrational Energy of Love is very magnetic. The more you love and accept yourself as you are, the more you attract love from others. You will manifest loving, empowering and abundant situations in your life.
Fill yourself with Love to the point where you become radiant with the Energy of Love. This raises your energy vibration. As a result, people and animals will be attracted to you and will try to be near you.
Love heals and brings peace, joy, compassion, abundance, contentment to everything and everyone.
You have an endless supply of Love. You cannot exhaust the Love in the Universe even if you were to absorb it from now into eternity.
Feel what Love is like in your heart and body, and let Love guide you. Respond to all situations with Love. Live each moment in the magic of the Energy of Love.
Love is the glue that holds the Universe and all that is within it together. There is nothing but Love. The Love you want is in you, now. Love IS.
All this, and more, is the. . . Energy of Love!"

Validation, everybody needs it. The reason that people do things is because they want people to tell them that they did a good job. That paycheck is validation for the hard work that was done for the last 2 weeks. People dress nice because they want a guy to notice them. It's all about validation. If you can give people what they want validation, then they will be forever indebted to you.

If you want to read more about what's actually going on overseas, check out this article right HERE
Why is our country the muscle in the corrupt world government scheme? Why don't YOU know that? What is really the plan going on in Haiti . . because there is a methodological plan.
P.S. I'm really open to ANY answers to ANY of my questions that I ever ask. It seems like this blog could also be called QUESTIONS PERIOD, because at the end of most of these news based posts, I'm left with this eerie feeling that I just don't have the whole picture.
Contrast [Abraham Hicks]
Abraham-Hicks
"When the contrast gets greater, the desire gets greater too, and that's what miracles are from. A miracle is nothing more than a terrible situation that has caused strong desire and then somehow an alignment of Energy with the desire. Every day life creativity, that's all that it is."
When I think about that it makes so much sense. God makes sense to me. He has created a PERFECT system for us here on Earth for us to use. Everything is GOD. How many times have you been in a situation where it seemed like you had nowehre to go, and then out of nowhere a PERFECT solution tailored perfectly for you just POPS up in the form of a little mini miracle.
Profound.

"I was asked to write a blog about why I wanted to come back to Haiti. I'm not really sure how to answer that question. No one I've seen today in Port-au-Prince has asked me that. If anything, people here ask why I left, and why so many other reporters have left as well. I don't really know what to tell them."
excerpt from Anderson Cooper's blog
They asked him WHY HE LEFT. I don't watch the news, but I'm sure that they aren't talking about Haiti as much as they were. THe problem is, that all of the problems surrounding Haiti are still going on.
What can I do today to help? What can I do tomorrow to help? What can I do the day after that? What can YOU do? What can WE do?
Color Psychology
The first thing that I ask people when I'm getting to know them is what their favorite color is because I have come to know that their favorite color and the reason that they chose it is going to tell me a lot about their character. I found this great site today that explained a little psychology of color. . .
Here we go:
Red is a very strong color. It is a noticeable color that is often used on caution and warning signs. It is often associated with stop or "beware". It’s a hot color that evokes a powerful emotion of passion, lust, sex, energy, blood and war. Red is a good color to use for accents that need to take notice over other colors. Red is often used in flags for nations, as it is a symbol of pride and strength. It is also a sporty color that many car manufactures choose to showcase their signature vehicles.
Orange is a combination of Red and Yellow. It is also a bright and warm color. It represents fire, the sun, fun, warmth and tropical images. It is considered a fun light color that has appetizing qualities to it. Orange increases oxygen supply to the brain and stimulates mental activity. It is highly accepted among young people. As a citrus color, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulates appetite. Any design relating to the tropics, something fun, easy going and youthful should incorporate some type of orange into the design. A darker, richer shade of orange can be associated with autumn.
Yellow is the brightest color to the human eye. It represents youth, fun, happiness, sunshine and other light playful feelings. It is a cheerful energetic color. Yellow is often used for children’s toys and clothes. Yellow is often hard to read when placed on a white background so designers must be careful when using yellow, that it isn't’t too difficult to read or notice. Though yellow is a bright cheerful color, as it starts to darken it, however, quickly becomes a dirty and unpleasant color. Yellow can also be associated with being scared and, cowards. The term "yellow belly" is proof of that.
Green is the color of nature and health. It represents growth, nature, money, fertility and safety. Green is a relaxing color that is easy on the eye and has a healing power to it. It is often used to represent anything having to do with health. Many pharmaceutical and nutritional companies use green in their logos and material to advertise safe natural products. Dark green is commonly associated with the military, money, finance, and banking. However it can also be associated with being new or inexperienced as being green or a "green horn". Green is becoming a very popular color in design for web sites.
Blue is a cool calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. It is a popular color among large corporations, hospitals and airlines. It is a color of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust. Blue has a calming effect on the psyche. Blue is the color of the sky and the sea and is often used to represent those images. Blue is a color that generally looks good in almost any shade and is a popular color among males. Blue is not a good color when used for food as there are few blue foods found in nature and it suppresses the appetite.
Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Throughout history purple has been associated with royalty, nobility and prestige. It symbolizes mystery, magic, power and luxury. Purple is often used to portray rich powerful kings, leaders, wizards and magicians. Purple combined with gold can be flashy and portray wealth and extravagance. Light purple and pink is good for a feminine design and is a popular color among teenage girls. Bright purple along with yellow is commonly used in promoting children's products. It gives the appearance of something that is fun and easy to do.
Black is often a color used to portray something evil, depressing, scary or even death in western civilization. It has negative imagery with it at times such as "black mail" "black list" "black hole" etc. Black is also a very powerful color that also portrays one of class elegance and wealth. Classy clothing is designed in black from the "power suit" to the "sexy black dress" to formal "black-tie attire". Black combined with other colors can have a very strong statement. Black is a color that can fit into almost every design to add contrast, type, and make the other colors stand out more.
White is often associated with being pure, clean, fresh and good. The color of a fresh snowstorm brings up images of a peaceful and pure winter scene. White is a common background for Webster's as it is easy to read black or dark text on it. When used with a design using lots of negative space it gives a very clean look to it. White is also used lots for charities and non-profit organizations to denote something good and positive. Hollywood often portrays their characters in white as being good; the white horse, the cowboy with the white hat, the white wizard etc. White usually is associated with being pure and almost heavenly. White is associated with hospitals, doctors, and heaven.
So I ask... What's YOUR favorite color... and why?

I'm gonna say this. The weather is no longer only under God's control. Weather Planning is REAL. What's weather planning? Weather planning is manipulating high frequency bursts that can influence and control the weather and other natural phenomena. Storms are happening around the country that don't make sense and don't follow trends, and now EARTHQUAKES are starting to get busy in places that they shouldn't and all of these things put us in DANGER.
Wake Up! Everything isn't as sweet as it used to be America.

This video shows a commercial for Asimo; and YES he does actually do tours of that museum.

It's funny I've only been to their site once . . I don't know what else goes on there, but they send out GREAT daily emails!
I've learned a lot from Abraham-Hicks, it's a daily message basically talking about the Law of Attraction and how important our thoughts are and how to correctly use them based on our current situations so over the past year it has really molded me into making better decisions and handling situations better. . SOOOO that will also be a part of my blog. I'm going to post the Abraham-Hicks quotes that hit me HARD... starting with this one I recieved today and a few from the archives.
Anytime you feel negative emotion, stop and say: Something is important here; otherwise, I would not be feeling this negative emotion. What is it that I want? And then simply turn your attention to what you do want. . . . In the moment you turn your attention to what you want, the negative attraction will stop; and in the moment the negative attraction stops, the positive attraction will begin. And—in that moment—your feeling will change from not feeling good to feeling good. That is the Process of Pivoting.

I'm also gonna use this as a place where I post flyer work that I do and put my thoughts on the PR behind my designs and in MY mind the way that I feel that it was articulated to be used for the promotion of the event. . .
Oh the Venom Vision cover! I hope that they actually folow through with the yearbook so that I can see this bad-boy being carried around by all the students with Sharpies in their hands; giddy like high school kids tryna get a signature from that chick on the set. EVERYTHING at Florida A&M is SO extra, and I couldn't be sure of the contents of the yearbook and what they would hold so I went ahead and make the cover CRISP, CLEAN and straight to the point. I visualize the cream background to be like a LINEN material and all the GOLD to be a reflective, shiny print.
Thirsty Fridays - There needs to be a place for everyone to go and pre-game every week before they do what theey do in Tallahassee. For some reason that I haven't been able to understand yet, SATURDAY is typically the "PARTY" day in TLH and Friday is a day that everybody always just scrounges for random things to do. Must have something to do with poor budgeting and "not being able to afford going out." Anyways, I really dig the GTA feel that this flyer has and I wanna have a different woman for every week drinking a different drink.
Savvy Production;
yesss!
Stay tuned for campaign flyers, can't reveal them yet.
Oh the Venom Vision cover! I hope that they actually folow through with the yearbook so that I can see this bad-boy being carried around by all the students with Sharpies in their hands; giddy like high school kids tryna get a signature from that chick on the set. That's going to be how the movie starts; Who know's how it's going to end. . . and who's the camera man?
